Hotel Laurin is located opposite the yacht quay with a splendid view of the Gulf of Tigullio and the charming port of Santa Margherita Ligure. It is very close to trail heads in the Monte di Portofino nature park and the embarkation point for boats leaving for Cinque Terre.

Around 60 km from Santa Margherita Ligure is one of the most beautiful parts of the Levant coast, described in poetry by twentieth century writers such as Eugenio Montale.
Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are traversed by the famous “Via dell’Amore” path with its view of the sheer drop to the ocean.

We booked there due to its excellent location with lovely views over the pretty harbour combined with close proximity to the various attractions in the town. What we had not allowed for was the quite outstanding level of customer service that we received there. The Stars of Reception Tiziana, Genni, Rosario and Aligi were absolutely brilliant. We must also thank the dark haired Waiter at Breakfast (who also took on a number of other duties around the hotel!), the multi-lingual blonde Russian speaking lady and the sartorial Night Porter for all their help. Congratulations to the Owner, Mr Zerbe, for having built such a great team!"
